Please join us in highlighting the 2016-2017 school year at our annual Evening of the Arts. This event showcases student work from many departments, including music performances, foreign language plays, student work displays, and the annual SHS art show.  We hope to see you there!

The two libraries in Smithfield have placed amnesty boxes in schools to recover overdue library materials. Overdue charges will be waived for all materials returned in the boxes. Students have until June to return the materials.

SHS has a new club. The Fishing Club met last week. SHS parent, Mr. Hafner, showed the kids how to make their own bass lures.

Attention Parents & Students – NASSP Virtual College Fair will take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2017, 2pm-10pm ET. NASSSP expects to have 40+ colleges and universities available to engage our students and families, as early as grade 9, and student affairs administrators and financial aid experts available to support seniors on their way to college. All high schools and leaders with whom NASSP has a relationship (Membership with NASSP, NASC, and NHS) are welcomed to attend. More information may be found here.
