This week’s SHS Faculty PD!

SHS was well represented at the Rhode Island Home Show this weekend.  SHS students worked with 20 other schools to build two tree houses.  Truly magnificent work.

Congratulations to Head Football Coach Chris Branch.  He was selected the Division IV Coach of the Year from the Providence Gridiron Club. Coach Branch will be honored at the Quonset O’ Club later this week.

Horace Mann continues to be a great supporter of SHS.  They recently held a reading contest.  The winners receive a Nook.  The following students are the Nook winners from Smithfield High School:

  • Grade 9: Mary-Helen McDonald
  • Grade 10: Liam Garvey
  • Grade 11: Eily Jones
  • Grade 12: Alyson Rickert
