The SHS graduation date has been changed. The new date for graduation is June 16, 2015 at 7 pm at Bryant University.
This change is necessary for two reasons.
- The Smithfield Town Charter requires a town budget meeting to take place on the second Thursday of June. This meeting conflicts with the original graduation date.
- The severe weather this winter has significantly impacted the school calendar. The new graduation date keeps SHS in compliance with RIDE regulations regarding school attendance.
