What a great first week of school! Thank you to the students and faculty for a smooth transition. Cannot wait for week number two.
This weeks SHS Faculty PD is out! Great info on grading and GAFE.
I started reviewing the feedback from the Google survey. As I thought, we are all over the place. We will take the data and start to create some different PD sessions for all of you over the next few weeks. One thing we will start with next week will be the “Google Hour”. Mr. Hassell and I will be available in the admin conference room to work with individuals or groups on specific topics or questions you may have. Please check out the school calendar for next weeks times. If this is successful and useful, we may continue each week. All we ask is that you bring your device, have an open mind and be patient with us as we are certainly not experts with Google (not yet).
We will be having an assembly on Tuesday for grades 9, 11, 12 during advisory. This will be with Paul Barrette to roll out the Google emails.
